Day 24

Soundtrack

Once we finnished editing our final piece and made sure all effects were rendered, we then moved on to creating a soundtrack for the movie.
We did this by using software called 'Soundtrack', we dragged our final piece into this program then browsed trough sound clips from different genres and tried to match up suitable beats, songs and tracks to fit with the pace of the clip. After we had to ensure that all of the tracking music for the movie fitted, by asking other groups to watch the preliminary movie with the soundtrack overlayed and tell us what they think of it. This helped us to get rid of any poor transitions and possible problems with the soundtrack.

Day 23

Editing
To begin editing we had to upload the footage from our camera by connecting the camera to a fire wire.
After uploading the footage we began to drag and drop the footage in the right order into the timeline. After the footage was in the time line we began to look through the certain footage cutting it where necessary.
We then needede to add titles to the opening sequence. To do this we had to use livetype. This is a piece of softwzare that can be used to create titles. After the editing was done this was moved into soundtrack!
